pngXoptimizer

pngXoptimizer contains a very good PNG optimizer and one of the most powerful Deflate compressor. The combinaison of those process allow pngXoptimizer to give often the best results comparing to others tools. It gives equivalent results -and use same tools- as the Normal option of ScriptPNG

• PNG Optimizer based on fast strategies to determine the best output settings. Most of the time, the PNG optimizer gives the correct output, allowing the compressor to achieve a good result.
• Delete unnecessary chunks, ColorType test, Palette optimizer, smart transparency optimizer, and solid compression of PNG.
• New! : Since version 1.1, pngXoptimizer supports now multiprocessing files and can achieve the same results two times faster.

Usage

Just Drag-And-Drop your PNG files (or folders) ON pngXoptimizer executable. It will optimize the PNG file, and if optimization result give a bigger file, it restores the original file.

Informations

pngXoptimizer does NOT support interlaced PNG files.
