ScriptJPG

ScriptJPG can optimize JPG files by optimizing huffman tables, and encode to progressive or grayscale morede. It can convert dozen of formats to JPG. Most of the time, ScriptJPG get the best time / size ratio. It can also convert a PNG+24 Alpha to JPG, by deleting the alpha channel.

Features

• ScriptJPG can convert PNG, GIF, BMP, JPG, PCX, TGA, TIF / TIFF, PNM, PBM or PGM to JPG with a simple drag-an-drop, a full optimization of JPG.
• It also proposes to select the output quality of JPG, which allow the user to compress with a lossy solution. Most of the time, the best choice for Web is 90%.

Usage

Drag-And-Drop your files ON the ScriptJPG. For optimal optimization, always name your file as namewithtoutspace.jpg instead of my file name with space.jpg. Always use standard characters. Do not store ScriptJPG in a folder name with space like New Folder.

Informations

ScriptJPG does NOT support animated or interlaced PNG files.
